Structural and multidisciplinary optimization continues to play a crucial role in advancing both theoretical research and practical engineering applications. Building on the legacy of the previous ACSMO congresses—held in Nagasaki (2016), Dalian (2018), Seoul (2020; Online), Matsue (2022), and Zhengzhou (2024)—ACSMO 2026 aims to further strengthen academic collaboration and promote cutting-edge developments in this vibrant field.
ACSMO is a biennial congress officially endorsed by the International Society of Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization (ISSMO) and organized by the Asian Society of Structural and Multidisciplinary Optimization (ASSMO). As before, ACSMO 2026 will provide an inspiring platform for researchers, engineers, and students from around the world to share their latest research findings, exchange innovative ideas, and foster international cooperation.
Busan, the second-largest city in Korea, is a dynamic coastal metropolis known for its stunning beaches, scenic mountains, and rich cultural heritage.
